Most cereals are loaded with Genetically Modified Wheat and Sugar which are the 2 cheapest ingredients available. Wheat costs about $0.35/lb and sugar costs about $0.15/lb.
We only use high-quality, non-GMO ingredients which are much more expensive. Our Organic Pea Protein ingredient costs over $6.00/lb (~20x more expensive than Wheat!) and our Monk Fruit (for subtle sweetness) costs us about $175/lb (~1,000x more expensive than sugar!).
This cereal tastes so good, I feel like I’m cheating my diet, but I’m not!! Definitely would recommend if you need something to fill you up & curb your sweet tooth.
If you are counting carbs, then finding a low carb cereal can be a challenge. I am able to blend a low carb fiber cereal with your cinnamon toast cereal which works out great for me. Your products give an alternative to eating eggs 7 days a week. Would be nice to increase or feature a higher fiber cereal as an option. Provide a better discount for larger volume purchases
I gave up eating cereal in 2013 when I found out I was "prediabetic". My dad, my sister, and my brother all had Type II diabetes. While I don't place all empty carbs out of my reach, I really limit them. So when I saw Keto Crunch cereal on FB, I knew I had to try it. I have only tried two flavors so far -- Cinnamon Toast and Honey Graham -- both equally delicious. They are quite expensive, and I understand why, so I won't be eating them every day but it's nice to know that I now have options available for that yummy morning crunch. Much thanks for creating these delicious cereals.
As a low carb person due to health reasons, finding this cereal has been a godsend. The flavors taste real, if that makes sense? Their chocolate cereal really does taste like dark chocolate, compared to other hyper sweet and artificial tasting low carb cereals that I've tried. The variety of flavors is nice as well, although some of the flavors (honey graham/maple waffle) taste very similar to each other. I was surprised by how much I liked some of the flavors I thought I wouldn't, like chocolate banana. The texture of the cereal is VERY firm (there is a reason why "crunch" is in their name), which I've gotten used to and appreciate because this makes a great dry snack or does well crumbled on top of yogurts, too, and I just leave the cereal a few extra minutes in milk before eating. I love feeling like I get to eat cereal normally - it was one of the things I had missed the most - and legitimately I would eat and love this cereal even if I didn't need a low carb option in the future.
Catalina Crunch does take some getting use to coming from the very sugary cereals I have eaten in the past. I really wanted to cut out a lot of my sugars and breakfast had a lot. Once I got use to the zero sugar I love it! Catalina Crunch is flavorful and filling! I tried to eat a “normal” sized bowl of Catalina Crunch like I was use to with the name brand cereals and I barely finished it. So I took a lot less, closer to the recommended single serving of 3/8 cup, I am no longer hungry after my breakfast and I don’t get all that sugar from the other cereals! I was also surprised that I enjoyed all the flavors in the variety 6-pack, they all taste great!
