OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR TEXT MESSAGE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR TEXT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.
1. ELIGIBILITY: This Giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, and of each of their affiliate companies and subsidiaries, and of Sponsor’s advertising agencies involved in the development and production of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and each of their immediate family members and/or people living in the same household are not eligible to participate. All eligibility is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. An entrant is not a winner of any prize until entrant’s eligibility as to the Sweepstakes has been verified, entrant has been notified that verification is complete, entrant has completed and submitted all required forms (including an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, if required) and entrant has otherwise complied with the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.
2. ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 12:01 a.m., Central Time (“CT”), and will end on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., CT (the “Entry Period”), during which entrants may enter for the chance to win a prize. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
3. HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, eligible entrants may enter the Sweepstakes in one of two ways:
a. By Opting-In to Receive SMS Text Message Communications from Sponsor: You may, during the Entry Period, enter by navigating to the Snack Swap landing page at https://us.catalinacrunch.com/pages/swap (“Sweepstakes Website”), review the terms and conditions, enter your cell phone number (“Cell”) on which you want to receive Sweepstakes and Sponsor’s marketing messages, and click on the “I Agree” button to opt-in to receive Sponsor’s marketing messages and messages related to the Sweepstakes, agree to these Official Rules, and enter the Sweepstakes. If entrant has already opted in to receive SMS marketing communications from Sponsor prior to the beginning of the Sweepstakes, entrant should follow these same SMS Entry instructions but will receive a message confirming their existing subscription upon entering their Cell number into the designated form.
Your mobile phone must be capable of sending and receiving text messages to participate via this method. Standard text message rates apply. See your wireless provider for pricing plan details. All text message entries must be received by the end of the Entry Period to be eligible. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means or with the intent to subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering this Sweepstakes via text messaging the entrant is consenting to receive text and phone messages regarding the Sweepstakes pursuant to the messaging terms described and disclosed to entrant on and through the Sweepstakes Website.
b. By Website: Entrants who have not entered or choose not to enter by the SMS Entry method, and who would like to enter the Sweepstakes may, during any Entry Period, enter by navigating to the Sweepstakes Website and clicking on the “here” button in the phrase “don’t want to text in? Enter here via email” or navigate directly to https://app.viralsweep.com/sweeps/full/016227-218063?framed=1, enter your email address into the field, and click on the “Enter” button in order to agree to these Official Rules and enter the Sweepstakes.
No other method(s) of entry will be accepted. Each of the methods of entry described above are an “Entry” and all together the “Entries.” Any proof of delivery or receipt of Entry will not be deemed by Sponsor as proof of Entry into this Sweepstakes. Standard data charges may apply if participating via your mobile device.
4. ENTRY LIMIT; ODDS: Limit one (1) Entry per person, regardless of the method of Entry and regardless of when during the Entry Period entrant enters. Entrants who enter via multiple methods of entry may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the natural person whose name is assigned to the Cell number under the account records held by the carrier for the Cell number, if the Entry was via SMS text, or the person named in the Entry who must also be the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter the Sweepstakes, if the Entry was via email. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address or by the employer client of Sponsor as the natural person assigned to an internal portal account. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the assignee of the Cell number or the authorized account holder of an email address. If the entrant identified to us as the entrant and the natural person assigned to the Cell number or email used in connection with a particular Entry in dispute is not the same individual, that Entry may be disqualified. Sponsor will not correspond with entrants regarding receipt of entries. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
Odds of winning a Prize depends on the number of eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.
5. WINNER SELECTION: Sponsor will conduct four weekly drawings in connection with the Sweepstakes. For each weekly drawing, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing in order to draw twenty-five (25) potential winners from all eligible Entries received during the full Entry Period up to the weekly drawing cutoff dates and time listed below, and excluding any Entrants who were already selected as potential winners during the same or earlier weekly drawings.
a. Weekly drawings will take place on:
i. January 8, 2026 -- from Entries received during the Entry Period before 11:59pm CT January 7, 2026.
ii. January 15, 2026 – for Entries received during the Entry Period before 11:59pm CT January 14, 2026.
iii. January 22, 2026 – for Entries received during the Entry Period before 11:59pm CT January 21, 2026.
iv. January 29, 2026 – for Entries received during the Entry Period before 11:69pm CT January 28, 2026.
6. PRIZE: 100 total prizes will be awarded in the Sweepstakes (each, a “Prize” and together, the “Prizes”). An individual determined to be a winner will only be awarded one Prize. Each Prize, called a “Snack Swap Box” has an approximate retail value (ARV) of $96.93 and consists of the following items:
- Two (2) Cataline Crunch Cereal Pouches with an ARV $7.99 each
- Two (2) Catalina Crunch Snack Mix Pouches with an ARV $5.99 each
- Two (2) Catalina Crunch Granola Pouches with an ARV $8.49 each
- One coupon for a free Catalina Crunch product, up to a maximum value of $9.99, coupon will be subject to the terms on its face, including any applicable expiration date;
- One (1) branded crewneck sweatshirt with an ARV $21; and
- One (1) branded baseball cap with an ARV $21.
Total ARV of all the Prizes is $9,693. Awarding of each Prize is subject to potential winner’s verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Each Prize will be awarded if properly claimed. No substitution, cash redemption, or transfer of the right to receive any prize or prize component is permitted, except in the discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize or Prize component with cash or a comparable prize of equal or greater value. Any portion of the Prize not accepted or used by the winner will be forfeited. Any Prize depiction is for illustrative purposes only. In the event any Prize item is described generally, the specific make, model, and any other specification related to such item will be selected by Sponsor in its discretion. Prize winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize. If applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the ARV of the Prize. All other costs or expenses resulting from winner’s receipt or use of the Prize not specifically mentioned in these Official Rules are solely the responsibility of the winner. If the actual value of a Prize is lower than the approximate retail value for the Prize stated in these Official Rules, the difference will not be awarded. ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE).
If a potential Prize winner does not meet the criteria contained in these Official Rules, Sponsor may choose (in its sole discretion) to disqualify the potential winner and notify an alternate potential winner (time permitting). In no event will more than the number of Prizes stated in this Section be awarded.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION: A potential Prize winner will be notified via SMS text message if the potential winner entered via SMS, or via email address if potential winner entered via an entered email. If the potential Prize winner does not respond to the notification within 72 hours of the initial attempt, he or she may be disqualified and the Prize awarded to an alternate winner. The winner is subject to verification. and will be required to provide to Sponsor a valid mailing address (not a P.O. Box) and any other information Sponsor may need in order to issue the Prize within the time stated in the email notification. The potential winner may, in Sponsor’s discretion, also be required to complete and return to Sponsor an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability, and, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release, and (if applicable) a W-9 form, within three (3) days of attempted delivery of same. If the potential winner fails to respond to any notification attempt within the time period specified by Sponsor, or if any attempted notification or Prize delivery is returned as undeliverable, or if the potential winner fails to complete and return any required affidavit or release within the specified time period, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected from the remaining eligible Entries received. Sponsor is not required to select more than one alternate winner for each potential winner disqualified.
8. GRANT OF RIGHTS; PUBLICITY; USE OF INFORMATION: An Entry constitutes permission for Sweepstakes Entities to use the entrant’s name, likeness, voice and/or biographical information, in perpetuity, throughout the world, in all media and formats whether now or later known or developed, for commercial purposes (including, without limitation, advertising and sweepstakes), without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All information regarding entrants collected by Sponsor and/or its agents and contractors will be subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy located at our Catalina Crunch Website Privacy Policy (the “Sponsor’s Privacy Policy”) By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes may be used as permitted pursuant to the Privacy Policy, and otherwise in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes.
9. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and agents, and each of their respective owners, officers, directors and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible, and will have no liability for, (a) late, lost, delayed, illegible, damaged, corrupted or incomplete Entries, incorrect or inaccurate capture of, damage to, or loss of Entries or Entry information, or any other human or technical errors of any kind relating to the operation of Sweepstakes, communications or attempted communications with or by any entrant, the submission, collection, storage or processing of Entries or the administration of the Sweepstakes, (b) undeliverable e-mails, SMS messages, or other messages or communications resulting from any reason outside of the Released Parties’ control, (c) any damage to any computer system or mobile device resulting from participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes; or (d) lost, delayed, destroyed, re-directed, or returned prizes or any portion of a prize (which prize or portion of a prize will not be replaced or re-sent). BY ENTERING, EACH ENTRANT FULLY RELEASES AND AGREES TO HOLD EACH OF THE RELEASED PARTIES HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITY, DAMAGES, AND DEMANDS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, THE SWEEPSTAKES PROCESS, THE ACCEPTANCE, RECEIPT, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR PRIZE COMPONENT AND/OR ANY USE A WINNER’S NAME, LIKENESS, VOICE AND/OR BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION AS PERMITTED HEREUNDER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, AND DEMANDS BASED ON ANY PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGES OR LOSS OR DEATH. ENTRANTS ASSUME ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE CAUSED, OR CLAIMED TO BE CAUSED, BY PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, THE USE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES WEBSITE OR MICROSITE OR RELATED WEBSITE, OR THE ACCEPTANCE, RECEIPT, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR PRIZE COMPONENT. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPOGRAPHICAL OR OTHER ERROR IN THE PROMOTION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR IN THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PRIZE. IN NO EVENT WILL MORE THAN THE STATED NUMBER OF PRIZES BE AWARDED.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SWEEPSTAKES ADMINISTRATOR AND SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify or prohibit from participating in the Sweepstakes any individual who, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, Sponsor determines or believes (i) has tampered with the Entry process, or has undermined the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes Website, related website or page, or application or the Sweepstakes itself by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices, or (ii) has engaged in conduct that annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other entrants or any representative of Sponsor, or (iii) has attempted or intends to attempt any of the foregoing. The use of automated devices, programs or methods to submit Entries is prohibited and Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entry that it believes may have been submitted using such an automated device, program, or method. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes should a virus, bugs, entrant fraud or misconduct or other cause beyond the control of Sponsor affects or corrupts the administration, integrity, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes or to the extent Sponsor deems necessary in order to comply with the terms of use or terms of service of any applicable social media platform or in connection with changes to such terms. In the event of termination of the Sweepstakes, a notice will be posted online and a random drawing to award the remaining Prizes will be conducted from among all eligible Entries received prior to the time of termination.
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION; VENUE; JURISDICTION: All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating the Sweepstakes, each entrant and participant agrees that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT OR PARTICIPANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND BY PARTICIPATING EACH PARTICPANT WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES. All issues and questions arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Indiana. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Sweepstakes or relating to these Official Rules must be instituted solely and exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Marion County in the State of Indiana, and the parties consent to jurisdiction therein with respect to any legal proceedings or disputes of whatever nature arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules.
12. RULES/WINNER’S NAME AND RULES REQUESTS: To receive the name of the winner, available after February 15, 2026, or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by July 31, 2026 to: “Snack Swap Sweepstakes, 6106 N Keystone, Suite 100, #1104, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220. 14. TRADEMARKS: All Catalina Snacks trademarks are the property of Sponsor. Any third-party trademarks mentioned herein are the property of their respective trademark owners. The use or mention of such third-party trademarks in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes is solely for descriptive purposes and shall in no way imply an endorsement or sponsorship of the Sweepstakes.
